We were so lucky to have my cousin Charlsie Oliverson in town to take Jax's new born pictures. http://www.charlsieoliverson.com/
She was here visiting from Oregon in transition to moving to Arizona.
She did such an amazing Job. Nate wanted us to take our own newborn pics. I was VERY adamant about having a professional photographer capture this tender time.
We found out very quickly that taking photos of a brand new baby in quite the art and was very glad that we had Charlsie take them while we observed. The home has to be the right temperature, baby needs to be fed and sleepy, and molding the little one into desirable positions takes time and patience.
It was so fun to watch Charlsie in her element, and the results were exactly what we were looking for!!
